On the Thursday, October 9, 2025 broadcast, following the opening segment with a look at the day’s top news and the front pages of newspapers and online media, we spoke with Dionysis Temponeras, labor law expert and SYRIZA Progressive Alliance member, about the latest developments following Alexis Tsipras’ resignation from Parliament, discussing how this may affect the broader progressive political space, as well as current labor issues in the wake of the new legislation passed by the Ministry of Labor.
In the second hour, we had a phone interview with Eleni Orneraki, Director of the Ornerakis School of Applied Arts, about the 8th Applied Arts Festival, taking place over the weekend of October 11–12 at Ameriki Square. Professionals from the world of design will come together, and younger visitors will have the opportunity to discover what this creative field encompasses, from sketching and illustration to the ever-expanding possibilities opened up by modern digital technologies.
In the final part of the program, we welcomed in-studio guest Aris Zografos, President of the Panhellenic Association of Driving Instructors and Road Safety Education. We discussed the road safety crisis in Greece, which remains among the worst in Europe in terms of fatal accidents. The conversation explored root causes and sought solutions, with a focus on the critical role of early driver education, beginning as early as preschool age, in shaping responsible future drivers.
