In this special one-hour broadcast, aired on the afternoon of Good Friday, 10 April 2026, the program aligned with the solemn spirit of the day.
The show first took us to Corfu, to explore how Holy Week is observed on the island—one of the most popular destinations during this period, known for its distinctive customs and deeply reverent atmosphere. Nikos Vradis, Deputy Mayor for Culture of the Municipality of Central Corfu and the Diapontia Islands, spoke to us about the celebrations.
The program then turned to Father Vasileios Thermos, Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist and former professor at the Higher Ecclesiastical Academy of Athens, who reflected on the meaning of the Crucifixion and the Resurrection, and how the spirit of these days guides people through the difficult times humanity is experiencing.
Towards the end of the broadcast, the program connected with distant Lima, Peru, where we exchanged Easter wishes with Giorgos Stratouris, a Greek entrepreneur who has spent the Easter period away from his homeland for the past 14 years.
