On the Friday edition of the program, September 19, 2025, we talked about current affairs with Nasos Iliopoulos, Member of Parliament for New Left. We discussed the parliamentary inquiry into OPEKEPE, the fragmentation of the Left, and the polling findings showing that the progressive space still cannot raise its head. We also touched on developments in the effort to build bridges between the parties within this ideological space, and on Greece’s role on the international chessboard, focusing mainly on developments in Gaza.
In the second hour, our studio guests were the creators of the film “Arkoudotrypa” (Bear’s Den). With directors Chrysianna Papadaki and Stergios Ninopoulos, and lead actresses Pamela Economaki and Xara Kyriazi, we talked about the central idea of the film, the shooting in the region of Elati in Trikala, the difficulties and challenges of filming in natural locations and in a village of the Greek countryside. We also discussed the challenges women face today and the messages conveyed through the story unfolding in the film. We got to know better the two young women starring in their very first project, and the way they were chosen to portray Argyro and Anneta. Finally, we listened to some of the beautiful musical pieces and songs that ideally complement the work of the two young filmmakers—a film that has already enjoyed great success at all festivals where it has been presented, having begun two years ago as a short film that impressed at the Drama International Short Film Festival.
