In the Tuesday, 20 January 2026 edition of “Take Your Time”, following the review of current affairs and the main headlines from news websites and newspapers, we discussed political developments—focusing in particular on the farmers’ protests—after the meeting between agricultural union representatives and the Prime Minister. Our guest was Theodoros Karaoglou, Member of Parliament for New Democracy and former minister, who also spoke about his decision to run for the position of Regional Governor of Central Macedonia.
The first hour concluded with international news presented by Ivana Djordjevic.
In the second hour, the studio welcomed historian and author Kostas Katsapis, PhD in History at Panteion University and author of the book Australia – Ten Stories, along with actress Lili Tegou. Katsapis’s book is being adapted for the stage at Angelōn Vima Theatre, from 01 February, as a theatrical production directed by Margarita Dalamanga, titled “You Left on the ‘Patris’”. Lili Tegou brings to life the female roles in the performance.
Together, we talked about migration to Australia in past decades—especially during the 1950s and 1960s—the people who built Greek communities there, their relationships, the ways they carried habits and elements of life in Greece with them, and their efforts to preserve the Greek language and national identity.
The program concluded with Antigoni Drakatou and the sports news.
