On the Thursday, September 25, 2025 edition of the show, after reviewing the day’s newspaper headlines, we spoke with Giannis Papadomarkakis about the issue of teacher shortages in schools, following the announcement of new appointments of substitute teachers. We also addressed the need to re-evaluate the maximum number of students per classroom in junior high schools, given that some schools currently have classes with 26 or 27 students. As he revealed, the Ministry is considering the possibility of reducing this number to 25 students per class.
Immediately after, we discussed current political developments with political analyst Maria Karaklioumi, focusing especially on what is happening within PASOK and its efforts to increase its support, a matter that has already caused internal turbulence within the party.
In the second hour, we connected with Chania and spoke with Matthaios Frantzesakis, director of the Chania Film Festival, which opens its doors on October 15. This year’s edition will honor Emir Kusturica and include thematic sections exploring major issues facing humanity today.
In the final part of the program, we welcomed to the studio psychologist and psychotherapist Nasia Skampardoni. The topic of discussion was violence among minors, the impact that unfiltered exposure to violent content on television and the internet has on the mental well-being of children and adolescents, and the role that parents and schools play both in the development of the problem in recent years and in addressing it.
The show concluded with Lida Sidiropoulou presenting the day’s cultural highlights, and Dimitris Giachanatzis from ERA Sport delivering the latest sports news.
