On Friday, 13 February 2026, following a reference to World Radio Day and a review of the day’s online and newspaper headlines, the program focused on the Panagopoulos case and the mobilization of workers regarding collective labor agreements. The discussion featured Giorgos Stefanakis, President of the Attica Tourism Workers’ Union and member of the Secretariat of PAME as well as of the GSEE executive board.
Immediately afterwards, we spoke by phone with Giannis Koukoutsis, member of the Board of the Agricultural Associations of Larissa, as he and fellow farmers were traveling to Athens to take part in the protest rally scheduled for 16:00 on Friday at Syntagma Square.
During the second hour, the program welcomed to the Voice of Greece studio director Takis Bardakos and Babis Kouremetis, the amateur photographer who inspired Bardakos to create the documentary “The Man Who Watched the Ships – Elefsina.” The film traveled to Paris last week as part of GrecDoc, following an invitation from the Greek Community of Paris. In this short film, Babis Kouremetis guides us along the coastal zone of his hometown through the lens of his camera, becoming a silent traveler. He never went to sea, yet he follows every departing ship with his gaze — and with his soul.
