Apostolos Zezos is one of the young participants attending this year’s Symposium for the second consecutive time, an event organized by the General Secretariat for Greeks Abroad and Public Diplomacy. He is 21 years old and moved with his family to Canada—specifically to Toronto—at the age of just nine.
He talks about all that has happened in the years since, as well as the initiatives he has undertaken to stay connected with the new friends he has made from different parts of the world. He also speaks about his aspirations as an ambassador of Hellenism in Canada, the large Greek community in Toronto, and the efforts made to keep second- and third-generation Greek youth connected to Hellenism and the Greek language.
