Two distinguished guests joined Voice of Greece in the studio.
In the first part of the program, award-winning executive chef Nikos Fotiadis shared the goals and future plans of the Chefs’ Brigade and the Institute of Greek Nutritional Culture and Gastronomy, while also discussing his culinary philosophy. He also spoke about his book Musical Peridromos, an extensive study of rebetiko songs that reference Greek cuisine, accompanied by a CD.
Later in the program, Theodoris Tzoumas, Mayor of Skiathos, took us on a journey to the cosmopolitan island of the Sporades. The conversation focused on Skiathos’ distinctive gastronomic identity, its local flavors, and alternative forms of tourism.
