Tradition and innovation took center stage on this episode of “The Sweet Life.”
Guests at the Voice of Greece studio included:
• Zafeiris Trikalinos and Lila Kourti, who spoke about the iconic Bottarga. From 1856 to the present day, we explored the story of the family that transformed a local treasure into a global gastronomic symbol.
• Agronomist and beekeeping instructor Panagiotis Skoteidakis, along with oenologist and olive oil tasting expert Eleni Katsirma, presented the honey tasting seminar organized by the Institute of Agricultural Sciences. We learned how to recognize quality in nature’s sweetest gift.
• Stavros Striligas, communications manager of the Athens Street Food Festival, introduced us to the atmosphere of this year’s anniversary edition — 10 years filled with flavors from around the world in the heart of Athens.
