We traveled to the vineyards of Messinia to discover the Fileri grape variety. Nikos Loukakis, principal of the WSPC Sommelier Academy, joined us in the Voice of Greece studio to discuss Fileri. Drawing on his extensive experience as a sommelier and in the restaurant industry, he also shared his views on Greek wine.
Stefanos Koundouras, professor of viticulture and director of the Viticulture Laboratory in the School of Agriculture at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, brought his scientific expertise to the discussion.
Finally, Nikos Moraitis introduced us to the Kefalonia and Ithaca Microbrewery.
