Antonis Fostieris is one of the most significant poets of the Generation of 1970s, a great age in Greek poetry. His poems have been translated into many languages. His works have been honored with many literary awards, including the Greek State Poetry Prize for the collection “Precious Oblivion” in 2004, and the Ouranis Foundation Poetry Award of the Academy of Athens for the sum of his work, in 2010. |
