Nikos Erinakis (Athens, 1988) holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the Universities of London and Oxford, having studied economics [Athens University of Economics and Business], philosophy and comparative literature [Warwick], and philosophy of the social sciences [LSE]. He has occasionally taught Political Philosophy, Ethics and Aesthetics in England and is a lecturer at the Hellenic Open University, the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and the Athens School of Fine Arts. He also works as Director of Research at the Greek think tank ENA and is a member of the Honorary Council of the Greek Youth Symphony Orchestra. Two books of his poetry have been published (“Syntoma Ola tha Kaigontai kai tha Fotizoun ta Matia sou”, Roes, 2009 and “Anamesa se Osa Peftei i Skia”, Gavriilidis, 2013) as well as two books of selected poems by Georg Trakl (“Dark love of a wild generation”, Gavriilidis, 2011) and Paul Celan (“North of the Future”, Gavriilidis, 2017) translated by himself.
His essays and poems have been published in various print and digital journals, included in Greek and foreign language anthologies, and translated into six languages. In 2018, the translation of his second book of poetry was published in France in a bilingual edition by Desmos publications.
