Lina Stefanou was born in Athens. Since 1980 she has worked as a journalist in: Major newspapers (Vradyni, Acropolis, TA NEA, Ethnos, Proti, Gnomi, Epikairotita, TO VIMA etc.). Well-known magazines (KLIK, Flash, Madame Figaro, METRO, Oxy, DNA, Mirror, Epsilon, Ticket, Status, Symbol). Television (ET2 and SevenX) the radio (ERA2, Flash and the online radio stations radio p, of the Ministry of Culture and amagi radio).
In 2002 her first novel “Charlie” was published by Kedros Publications. Four collections of her poetry have been published by Melani Publications. (Ston Kipo me tis Salamandres, 2007. San Nero stin Epifaneia tou Kosmou, 2011. Anoitainetai Isychos! 2014. Aequus Nox / Isi Nychta, 2018).
In 2011, she participated with her short story of the same title in the visual arts exhibition “Noor: Death in Jaipour” (artistic editor Nadia Gerazouni), which took place during the international contemporary art program reMap3, at Metaxourgio in Athens.
Her poems have been published in newspapers and literary magazines (Avgi, Eleftherotypia, Athens Voice, Koukoutsi, e-poema, Vakhikon etc.).
She currently works as the director of the English-language, collector’s bi-annual magazine NOMAS, while her articles are featured on various sites (such as Lifo.gr and Korres.com).
