Dimitris Chalazonitis was born in Cameroon in 1959.
In 1982, he graduated from the School of Dentistry of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He has been working as a dentist from 1987 until today.
He has published the following poetry collections: “Era poVera”, “Sferes”, “Poleitai to paron”, “Zimies”, “Aerites” and “Metapiiseis”, all by Themelio publications.
