We sample skaltsotseta, sartsa, meatballs, and lamb fricassée with boiled wild greens, along with shrimp giouvetsi. The first three dishes take us to the “Flower of the Levant” — Zakynthos — while the last two lead us all the way to… Helsinki. All this in the show’s final episode for August.
Guest in the studio is Konstantinos Mouzakis, President of the Chefs’ Club of Attica “Acropolis,” who introduces us to the distinct flavors of Zakynthos and speaks about the Club’s initiatives.
We also meet award-winning chef Arsenios Fourkiotis from Helsinki, who presents modern Greek cuisine to Finnish audiences.
Finally, Eleni Katsouli invites us to the 2nd Little Hands Festival on infant and children’s nutrition, held in Heraklion, Crete, with free admission (6 & 7 September).
On the microphones: Nikos Ioannidis and Natasa Vissarionos.
