“The Sweet Life” dressed up for the holidays, making three flavourful stops and closing with a strong wine-themed finale. We began with Ioanna Stamoulou, talking about the Christmas sweets that define the most aromatic season of the year. We then travelled to Cyprus with Florentia Kythreotou, discovering Cypriot treats and the stories behind them.
The journey continued with Limniona, one of the rising grape varieties of the Greek vineyard, featuring Eleni Blouchou in the studio and Christos Zafeirakis on the phone, on the occasion of World Limniona Day. The programme concluded with Yiannis Karakasis MW, discussing this year’s Greek presence at the Institute of Masters of Wine auction at Sotheby’s.
